The process is really easy:

  1. Use Alpha Portal's Forms & Messaging to send an ID Document request to your client.
  2. They use their phone and Alpha Portal's simple form to send the documents back to you.
  3. When you are happy with the documents you have received, export to TrustID.

Meet the Meeting Planner

Getting people together for a meeting can be quite a headache, especially if you need to find a time that suits a lot of busy people, but with the Meeting Planner you can easily organise that meeting between your contacts.


To propose a meeting from the Meeting Planner you simply suggest possible times to the required attendees. They receive an email with a link to the response page where they can indicate whether or not they can make the suggested times by clicking ticks or crosses. All required attendees can see the responses, making it clear whether some rescheduling of diary appointments will help make that meeting happen. 


When everyone has indicated their choices, the first timeslot that all attendees can make is automatically added to the calendar and a confirmation email is sent. The Meeting Planner is even clever enough to know when you have offered the same timeslot for more than one meeting - when one of these meetings is confirmed, the timeslot is removed as a choice from the others.


If no agreement is reached on the timeslot, the organiser is emailed to suggest alternative dates. Easy!

Write a Will (in just 10 minutes!)

A new feature, specifically for Branded Alpha Portal subscribers, lets you write simple Wills and other documents from within Alpha Portal – typically in just 10 minutes! The software guides you through the required sections, presenting you with the questions to answer, displaying a summary of progress and even a preview of the results on the generated document.


To get started with the Client Details section, you can create a new contact, select an existing Alpha Portal contact or import them from a spreadsheet, marketing campaign, partner system or Will Maker Direct.


Then simply next page through the sections answering the questions as you go. Each completed section (eg Executor, Guardian, Specific Legacy, Beneficiary etc) is ticked in the Progress tracking area.


When you have completed all the sections, a summary of the key facts is displayed which you can easily share with the client on Alpha Portal for them to review. You can even create a Mirror Will directly from these summary details for the client’s partner.


Then generate the final Will document as a PDF and send it to the client via Alpha Portal’s secure messaging. Could it be any quicker!
